Event Description

The following issues will be discussed:

1. Genetically modified plants and animals:
  • application of transgenesis and genomic editing for solving biotechnological problems;
  • methods of transgenesis and monitoring of transgenes;
  • optimization of transgene expression;
  • animals-bioreactors and plants-biofactories.

2. Molecular markers in genetic research and practical selection of plants and animals:
  • molecular markers for identification and certification of plants, animals and microorganisms;
  • molecular markers of economically valuable genes and features of plants, animals and microorganisms;
  • new marker analysis techniques.

3. Cellular engineering of plants and animals:
  • Cellular engineering of plants and animals;
  • Use of cloning and embryo transplantation in breeding of animals with specified properties.

4. Diagnosis of diseases of agricultural animals and plants using DNA and RNA technologies.

5. Development of genetically engineered vaccines.

6. Modern technologies of genomic analysis.

7. Bioinformatics of agricultural plants and animals.

Our goal is to enable the young scientists to independently present their findings and to gain experience in public speaking and discussion of scientific results with a professional audience. We also aim at promoting the integration of young scientists into a unified scientific space and establishing contacts through networking.

Target audience:

- Young scientists eager to improve their public speaking skills

- Students aiming to conduct scientific work and searching for a scientific activity

- Representatives of biotechnology companies, as well as firms using biotechnology developments, interested in highly qualified personnel and promotion of their products (participating as sponsors).

The Conference programme contains plenary sessions on the current and most rapidly growing areas of biotechnology development (to be published in January).
The best presentation of the research work contest will be held during the conference for the young scientists (under 35 years).

The winners will be awarded with diplomas and money prizes:
The first prize is 20,000 rubles;
the second prize is 10,000 rubles;
the third prize is 5,000 rubles.

The winners of the poster session will be awarded with special prizes.


Abstracts will be published by the beginning of the conference. Information on the registration papers and the registration form are in the attached documents. Please register before 20 March 2018


All abstracts are reviewed. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the form of the report presentation, to reject the abstracts that do not correspond to the conference topic, don't comply with the requirements or are of low quality. Selected papers will be published in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU
